Payment Deadlines

Fall semester fees are due August 1. Winter semester fees are due December 15. Students with approved Student Aid Alberta funding must submit their notice of assessment by the fee deadline to defer payment.

Work-Integrated Learning

Co-operative Education

Selected diploma programs include an optional co-op work term. Students complete a paid, 4-month work placement with one of our 180+ employer partners in Calgary and area. Co-op credits apply toward your credential.

$22.40/hour โ€” based on 94 student placements. Top sectors: technology ($26.10), financial services ($24.80), healthcare ($21.30).

Co-op Eligibility Requirements

1

Complete First Year

Students must successfully complete at least two semesters with a minimum 2.5 GPA.

2

Attend Co-op Prep Seminar

Register for COOP 101 in your second semester. Covers resume writing, interview skills, and workplace expectations.

3

Apply to Positions

Access employer job board through the student portal. Apply to postings starting Week 6 of your second semester.

4

Complete Work Term

4 months, minimum 480 hours. Submit biweekly logs and a final reflective report for credit.
